In my life this week…

It has been a rather relaxing week. We have stayed home mostly all week. We recently had to have our roof re-done and since then we have been trying hard for a no spending stretch for a few months, so we can get the roof paid off.

People we are seeing

On Wednesday we had to go run a few errands in town and ran by the local mall and had a small play date with friends…

Then, on Thursday we had a few vikings visit… (it was hard to get a good picture of him because he stayed in fight mode)

but, his sidekick was most accommodating…

Later that very day, we had a few speak no evil pilgrims…

Things, I am working on…

I finally got some slats put up for my grapes to climb on. The poor grapes have been trailing all over the ground. Have I actually tied or set the grapes on the slat yet you say?

Man, you ask a lot of questions.

I’m reading…

The same thing – Book Four, of “The Wheel of Time”. When it used to take me at longest 4 days to read a book, now it is closer to 4 weeks, sometimes more.

In my life this week…

This week has been full of T-ball tournaments! We were at the field Monday, Tuesday (double header), Thursday, and Friday. What a week, but yay! Our team came in third place.

Boy, was he a trooper, the poor guy on Thursday was sick… (peach jello powder + warm water = liquid jolly rancher (well and a good stomach coating for a sour stomach)

but, played hard anyway that night… (I promise I am not a bad Mommy, he wanted to)

People we’re seeing…

It should be more like people that came to see us this week. My Dad came by to show us his latest creation/toy, and boy was it a beauty.

Sugar Plum Fairy and Little Old Man thoroughly enjoyed it as well. Then we went and picked up a few cousins and took a quick spin around the farm.

Can I just say I want one of these SO bad, have since I was fifteen.

Things I am working on…

I have been since Spring doing cleaning. I have nicknamed it, “The Great Purge”. This week I worked on getting more of the clothing that either the kids cannot wear anymore or my clothes I do not want anymore and donating it.

Next week, the kitchen…

I’m reading…

Well, I am pretty sure I have read Min-o-saur, and Butterfly Girl at least twenty times. Do you read the same books over and over and over again? While I am glad that my kids do not get bored with things quickly, I do get sick of reading the same books again and again. I find myself after perhaps the 4th or 5th time reading them that I start adding or taking away from the story, depending on how tired I am. As for the times I do not fall in bed, I occasionally read, “The Shadow Rising: Book Four of ‘The Wheel of Time’”.
